WikiFX Golden Insight Award uniting industry forces to build a safe and healthy forex ecosystem, driving industry innovation and sustainable development, launches a new feature series — “Voices of the Golden Insight Awards Jury.” Through in-depth conversations with distinguished judges, this series explores the evolving landscape of the forex industry and the shared mission to promote innovation, ethics, and sustainability.
This interview features Takashi Matsumoto, the Founder and CEO of TJ Tech, with over 20 years of experience in the financial industry—including asset management, proprietary trading, forex brokerage, and crypto exchanges. Currently, He leads a fintech company with operations in Vietnam, Singapore, and Japan. While expanding our B2B services for financial institutions, he is also developing innovative B2C trading solutions designed to transform the way people engage with the markets. His ultimate goal is to scale the company into a unicorn, delivering lasting impact to both institutions and individual traders worldwide.
Part I: Business Experience and Advanced ideas
Q1. You‘re running both B2B and B2C businesses side-by-side. What’s your take on the trend of blending institutional services with retail investor solutions?
A:Traditionally, many institutional players, especially brokers, have earned revenue from retail trading activity. Today, however, the industry is clearly shifting. The future depends on how effectively institutions design services that truly support and empower retail investors. Those who succeed in closing this gap will lead the next evolution of the FX industry.
Q2. Youve said your goal is to “change how people interact with the markets.” Could you talk about some of the innovative B2C products or features you have in the pipeline?
A:We are preparing to launch three solutions: EA Market, Freeder, and Bot Advisor.
•EA Market: Provides access to over 10,000 in-house EAs and allows users to use strategies without installing software or configuring a VPS.
•Freeder: Scores trader behavior and offers real-time coaching to reduce losses and help traders develop consistent habits.
•Bot Advisor: An FX version of a Robo-Advisor, separating capital into protection and growth portions, with optimized EA portfolios used to aim for enhanced returns.
Q3. With how fast digital trading is evolving, are AI and automated trading now a core part of your product strategy?
A:Traditional statistical and technical analysis remains valuable. However, well-designed AI agents and LLM-based systems are already showing advantages. We have begun integrating both AI and quantum computing into strategy development, and these technologies will undoubtedly become core components of our products.
Q4. Your business operates in Vietnam, Singapore, and Japan. What are the biggest challenges and opportunities youve faced due to differences in their financial cultures and regulations?
A:Vietnam is our development hub and is rapidly evolving with new regulations for digital assets and CFD trading. Singapore serves as our regional headquarters, although rising costs and stricter regulations are leading us to consider diversification into locations such as Dubai.Japan has strict regulatory frameworks and longer timelines for launching services, but the expertise gained from Japan and Western markets continues to be valuable. Looking ahead, the strongest growth potential lies in China and Southeast Asia.
Q5. Where in the current forex trading market do you think information asymmetry is most likely to happen? And what has your company done to improve transparency?
A:Information asymmetry is most visible where large players, often called “whales,” interact with retail traders. Front-running and market manipulation, whether intentional or structural, frequently reflect the impact of large order flows. Our execution-bridge technology increases STP execution across multiple liquidity providers. This improves price discovery and transparency. Enhancing execution quality is central to our commitment to protecting retail traders.
Q6. How should forex brokers integrate the concept of “Sustainable Development” into their actual operations?
A:Brokers can achieve true sustainability only through transparency. Reducing the number of consistently losing traders is essential for long-term viability. Clear disclosure, investor education, and responsible product design are vital in building a healthier trading environment.
Part II: Suggestions for the participants of the Award
Q1: As a new judge for the “WikiFX Golden Insight Award”, what kind of traders (or industry professionals) do you most hope to see stand out and receive recognition?
A:My philosophy is GPF (Give People Freedom). I value individuals that contribute meaningfully to the growth and protection of retail traders, those who genuinely help traders progress deserve recognition.
Q2: How do you see the WikiFX Golden Insight Award shaping the future of a healthier forex industry?
A:A fair and credible evaluation system encourages trustworthy traders and professionals, reducing harmful practices and creating a safer trading environment. This award will contribute to building a more sustainable future for the FX sector.
Q3: As an expert judge for the Golden Insight Award, what are your expectations and suggestions for the participants?
A:Anyone who benefits from the FX industry should contribute to its long-term improvement, whether through financial resources, time, or expertise. Such contributions enhance the reputation and trust of the industry. I hope participants approach this award with a strong sense of responsibility and contribution.
Part III: WikiFX - Robin Hood Spirit and Safety Net
Q1: What role do you think WikiFXs products and services play in enhancing industry transparency and standardization?
A:By giving retail traders access to reliable information, WikiFX directly supports investor protection. If brokers represent concentrated financial power, WikiFX functions as a platform that redistributes knowledge to the wider public, similar in spirit to Robin Hood, a philosophy I respect.
Q2: What value do you think WikiFXs products and services provide in assisting investors with secure trading and risk control?
A:WikiFXs broker evaluations help traders assess service quality and avoid fraudulent or unsafe brokers. Alerts about high-risk entities help prevent financial loss. As a result, WikiFX serves as an essential safety net and plays a critical role in protecting investors within the FX industry.
