Purpose

The Indonesia forex market is an emerging forex market that has developed in recent years. With the continuous development of Indonesia's economy and the gradual opening of its financial markets, the importance of forex trading in the region has become increasingly prominent. To help investors or practitioners gain a more comprehensive understanding of forex brokers in this area, the on-site inspection team went to Indonesia for a field visit.

Process

The team went to Indonesia as planned to conduct an on-site visit to the forex broker GIB. According to publicly available information, its office address is Gedung AXA Tower, Kuningan City lt. 38 Jl. Prof. Dr. Satrio Kav. 18, Jakarta Selatan 12490.

A professional and experienced on-site inspection team, driven by a sense of mission to strictly vet for investors, proceeded according to a well-planned schedule to the target area in Indonesia to conduct a physical verification of the broker GIB which claims to be located at Gedung AXA Tower, Kuningan City lt. 38 Jl. Prof. Dr. Satrio Kav. 18, Jakarta Selatan 12490.

The inspectors successfully arrived at the AXA Tower building, located in the most luxurious area of downtown Indonesia, with a bustling surrounding environment and a strong commercial atmosphere. The logo of GIB could be seen on the exterior of the building.

The inspectors entered the building lobby, stated their purpose to the security guard, and after brief communication, obtained permission to enter.

Upon reaching the target floor, the 38th floor, the inspectors found no signage indicating the office area of GIB. Upon inquiry, they were informed that another company is now located here and were told that GIB has moved out. Since the company no longer operates from this location, the inspectors could not enter the interior and were unable to photograph the reception area and logo of GIB, and this office area was not a shared office space.

Through the public areas on the floor, the inspectors could not observe the internal environment of GIB company. The overall situation does not align with its claim of still operating from this location.

Therefore, after the on-site inspection, it was confirmed that the broker GIB does not exist at the aforementioned address.

Conclusion

The on-site inspection personnel went to Indonesia according to the plan to visit the forex broker GIB. At its publicly displayed business address, they could not see actual office premises or other information of this broker, indicating that the broker does not have a genuine business venue. Investors are advised to make their choices after comprehensive consideration.
