Based on my research and personal review of BBH, I was unable to find any clear information regarding a specific minimum deposit required to open a live trading account. From my experience, this lack of transparency is concerning, especially for a broker with such a long operational history and a broad offering of financial services. Reliable brokers usually disclose their account requirements upfront, but with BBH, the information simply isn’t available on their public resources or regulatory disclosures. Additionally, what makes me even more cautious is the fact that there are several recent user reports about withdrawal problems and requests for unexpected payments or taxes before releasing funds—these are serious red flags in the forex industry. While BBH appears to be regulated for certain services in Hong Kong, their FCA license is listed as “exceeded,” and their risk rating is high. In my view, the combination of opaqueness regarding minimum deposit terms and real-world withdrawal issues means that, even if small account openings are technically possible, the risk far outweighs any potential benefit. If a minimum exists, it hasn’t been made clear to me, and that alone makes me reconsider using this broker for live trading.
