Based on my research and review of FFG Securities, I can say that their trading environment is quite different from many brokers offering typical MetaTrader platforms. Unlike brokers that support MetaTrader 4 or 5, where using automated trading tools like Expert Advisors (EAs) is common, FFG Securities focuses on its own proprietary platforms, specifically the FFG Securities App and Internet Trading system. There is no mention of MT4, MT5, or any native support for EAs or algorithmic trading tools within their infrastructure. This means that, as a trader with a preference for automation, I could not use Expert Advisors on FFG Securities’ platforms. For me, the lack of support for EAs reflects their traditional, domestically oriented model, catering mainly to clients who trade Japanese and US equities, bonds, ETFs, and investment trusts. Their regulatory status under the Japanese FSA does add a layer of reliability, but it doesn’t translate into features tailored to forex algorithmic strategists. In short, if automated trading or EA deployment is central to your approach, FFG Securities would not meet those requirements. Instead, this broker is better suited for those focused on manual execution across listed securities, rather than systematic, automated strategies.
