Based on my own close review of CEZ Hungary, I must be very clear: this firm does not actually operate as a conventional forex or CFD broker, and therefore, the question of swap-free (Islamic) accounts does not apply in the way most retail traders would expect. CEZ Hungary is part of the larger CEZ Group and its services are tightly focused on electricity sales, risk management, and energy-related hedging for corporate clients that meet very high minimum consumption thresholds—specifically, companies using over 15 GWh of electricity per year. From everything I’ve seen, they structure contracts for institutional and corporate energy procurement, not for individual traders or even small businesses. When I evaluate whether a firm offers swap-free (Islamic) accounts, I look for a clear retail trading infrastructure, multi-currency trading products, and explicit account-type choices—none of which are provided here. Furthermore, CEZ Hungary is not regulated as a financial trading provider; this alone would make me very cautious, even if they did claim to offer such accounts. For me, as a trader, this operation falls far outside traditional forex or CFD frameworks, and it would not be appropriate or safe to approach them with expectations typical of regulated brokers—especially swap-free trading provisions for retail clients.
