As someone who actively manages my trading risk, I have to point out that ATAS does not hold any valid financial license or regulation, according to the available information. For me, the absence of regulation is a significant concern when evaluating broker safety. Regulated brokers are generally required to follow strict financial standards, implement client fund segregation, and are subject to regular audits. These measures do not guarantee complete safety, but they do offer an added layer of oversight that I rely on to help protect clients’ funds and ensure fair practice. With ATAS, none of these regulatory safeguards are in place. This means that if the platform encounters financial difficulties or disputes arise, I would not have recourse through a regulatory authority. The lack of external oversight makes it harder to independently verify how client funds are handled and whether operational standards are maintained. In my view, this represents a high potential risk, and I am cautious with any unregulated broker for this reason. If fund security is a priority, as it is for me, the regulatory status—or lack thereof—should be weighed very carefully before committing any capital.
