In my evaluation of ZHONGYANG as a trading platform, I found that they do provide access to commodities such as gold and crude oil, but not in the traditional spot FX sense most forex traders might expect. On ZHONGYANG, gold and crude oil appear as futures products—specifically, COMEX Gold (GC), Micro Gold Futures (MGC), and NYMEX Crude Oil (CL). The details on commissions and contract specifications reinforce that their focus is on actual exchange-traded futures, rather than spot contracts or CFDs. However, I feel compelled to express considerable caution. The broker’s regulatory status is a substantial concern for me. Their SFC (Hong Kong) licenses are flagged as ‘exceeded’ and potentially ‘suspicious clones,’ which undermines confidence in both operational transparency and client fund security. As an experienced trader, I do not overlook these regulatory warnings. I also noticed their account funding and withdrawal process is limited to bank transfers, with a lack of robust, modern payment alternatives, and generally scarce transparency about account requirements. So, while it is technically possible to trade exchange-based gold and crude oil futures through this platform, my experience leads me to prioritize platforms with stronger, verifiable regulation and a long-standing reputation for client protection. Issues around licensing, scope of business, and risk management here make ZHONGYANG an option I would approach conservatively, especially when contemplating trades in high-value assets like gold and oil.
