This absence of transparency already raises concerns for me as someone who prioritizes risk management and broker reliability. Spreads are a core element in the cost structure of trading, and it's industry standard for reputable firms to clearly disclose this information. For a platform focusing on physical precious metals like gold, silver, and platinum, knowing the spread mechanism is essential—especially since these markets can experience significant volatility during macroeconomic announcements and geopolitical events. In my experience, when such fundamental information is missing, it typically means that traders could face unpredictable trading conditions. During periods of high market volatility or impactful news, unregulated brokers—or those with unclear regulatory standing such as ABX—might widen spreads significantly, potentially exposing clients to unexpected costs or slippage. This is particularly risky with high entry barriers and specialized product offerings. Ultimately, the lack of explicit disclosure about spreads, combined with ABX’s unregulated status and high potential risk warnings, makes me cautious. I cannot confidently recommend engaging with this broker for active trading in precious metals, especially when there are more transparent and better-regulated alternatives available.
