As an experienced trader who takes risk management seriously, evaluating overnight financing charges—commonly called swap fees—is always a priority for me when choosing a broker. However, with MUFG, I found that publicly available sources, including regulatory summaries and the broker’s official channels, do not provide direct, transparent details regarding their swap fee structure for forex trading. This stands in contrast to many retail-focused brokers, where such information is typically easy to access and compare. Given MUFG’s profile as a globally regulated institution with strong roots in traditional banking, I recognize that their forex trading services may be more institutionally or wealth-management oriented rather than designed for active retail speculators. In my experience, brokers in this category often customize rates, including swap fees, based on client profiles, trade volumes, and negotiated arrangements rather than using standardized, universally published charges. For me, this lack of clear, upfront information means I must approach swap-related costs at MUFG with caution. Without being able to directly compare MUFG’s overnight charges to more transparent competitors, I would need to engage personally with their client service or seek documentation before relying on them for positions held overnight. This conservative approach ensures I can avoid unexpected costs and maintain effective risk control, which is especially critical in forex trading.
