In my experience as a forex trader, choosing a broker relies heavily on understanding its regulatory standing and the clarity of its offerings. With TD, the main advantage is its wide range of personal banking services, which means I can access not just trading, but a suite of financial products like savings accounts, mortgages, and investment products through the same platform. The convenience of managing these services from a unified app, available on both Apple and Android, may appeal to those looking for a holistic financial experience. However, I must be very cautious due to TD’s lack of valid regulatory oversight. For me, trading with an unregulated platform raises serious concerns about fund security and dispute resolution. The regulatory score is extremely low, and WikiFX explicitly highlights the absence of regulation and the potential for high risk. I find that fee structures are not clearly presented, which complicates evaluating the true cost of trading and could affect my returns if hidden or unexpected charges occur. Ultimately, although TD appears to be a large, multi-faceted financial institution, the absence of formal regulation and limited transparency regarding trading costs makes me reluctant to entrust significant capital to their trading service. For those prioritizing safety and clear governance, I believe these disadvantages outweigh the benefits, and I would urge others to be equally conservative in their assessments.
