However, I’m always cautious about “from 0 pips” claims, as real market conditions, liquidity, and time of day can widen spreads, impacting trade costs. For my own approach, I recognize that while commission-free trades sound appealing, spreads are often marked up to offset the lack of commission, which can indirectly increase costs—so it’s not just about the numbers on paper, but how they translate in practice. A key limitation I’ve noticed is that United Securities Co. does not offer demo accounts. For me, the absence of a demo makes it impossible to test these fees in live market conditions before committing funds, which raises my level of caution.
