From my experience as a trader with various brokers, when it comes to making the initial withdrawal from a platform like PGM, the most important consideration is the broker’s regulatory status and their internal compliance practices. Given that PGM is explicitly unregulated and flagged for high potential risk and suspicious regulatory license, I approach this with heightened caution. Ordinarily, reputable brokers—even those with minimal regulation—require standard documents to verify identity before processing withdrawals. This usually means providing a government-issued photo ID (such as a passport or driver’s license) and proof of residence (for example, a recent utility bill or bank statement showing your name and address). Sometimes, a copy of the credit card used for your initial deposit or bank account verification document may be requested, with sensitive information like digits masked for security. With an unregulated broker like PGM, I’m especially vigilant, since document requests could sometimes be inconsistent or changeable. In my view, the lack of regulation means there is no independent authority to enforce fair practices, so I take extra care to confirm all requirements in writing and keep copies of every communication and document sent. For me, this conservative and well-documented approach helps minimize risks associated with processing withdrawals through such a high-risk platform.
