After carefully examining the available information about ETC, I have to state that I could not find any details regarding typical spreads for the EUR/USD pair or for any forex instruments. In my experience as a trader, this is a significant point of caution. A lack of transparency about basic trading conditions—especially such a fundamental metric as the spread—means it is impossible to properly compare ETC with more established and well-regulated brokers. Furthermore, ETC is not regulated, and their focus seems to be on electricity market derivatives and options, rather than forex products. In fact, according to the details I found, ETC does not appear to offer forex trading at all, which includes the EUR/USD pair. For me, when considering a broker, clear information about spreads, fees, and regulatory oversight is non-negotiable for both risk management and cost-effectiveness. Due to the lack of published spread data and the apparent absence of forex trading, I would personally exercise a high degree of caution before considering any engagement with ETC.
