In my experience as an independent trader, Taishin Securities does not support cryptocurrency deposits such as Bitcoin or USDT. Based on the key details I found, Taishin Securities is a Taiwan-regulated broker focused on providing access to traditional financial instruments—securities, futures, stocks, ETFs, bonds, commodities, and derivatives. Their product offering is distinctly centered around these asset classes, and there is no indication of cryptocurrency trading or related services, either for direct trading or account funding. From a risk management perspective, this makes sense. Brokers regulated by traditional financial authorities, like the Taipei Exchange in this case, typically adhere to strict rules about permissible funding methods and allowable investments. In my own trading career, I’ve seen that such brokers are usually conservative about integrating new asset classes like cryptocurrencies, largely due to regulatory uncertainty and concerns over traceability and compliance. Practically, if you’re looking to use Bitcoin, USDT, or similar digital assets to fund your account, Taishin Securities won't meet that need at present. This limitation is important for me when deciding on a broker, especially given the rise in popularity of crypto funding options elsewhere. For now, funding will have to occur through conventional channels, so I would strongly advise confirming acceptable methods directly with customer service before proceeding.
