However, when assessing any financial service—especially in forex where the spread is a key cost factor—context is crucial. For Tifia, my main concern isn’t just the quoted spread, but rather the broader context of their business operations and regulatory standing. The data shows Tifia previously operated under a Vanuatu forex license which has now been revoked, meaning they are not currently regulated by any recognized authority. There are also multiple reports from traders about severe withdrawal issues, unresolved refund requests, problems accessing the website, and delays in customer service response. Additionally, some users have reported significant slippage, which directly impacts the real-world cost of spreads and execution. Given these high-risk indicators, even though the nominal EUR/USD spread starts from 1.1 pips, the actual trading environment may be less stable or transparent.
