More concerningly, NORDEA is listed as an unregulated entity, and there is a noted absence of documentation on their fee structures overall. In my experience, the lack of clear disclosure around spreads—especially in a firm operating without proper regulatory oversight—raises important red flags. Typically, brokers clearly outline whether they offer fixed or variable spreads because it’s a critical factor for risk management. While variable spreads can widen dramatically during periods of high market volatility or significant news events, fixed spreads are designed to remain stable but often come with higher baseline costs. Without knowing what NORDEA offers, I believe the true risk profile for active traders is nearly impossible to gauge. In settings like this—where not only the spread type is unspecified but fees in general are opaque—my advice is to be exceptionally cautious.
