Based on my direct experience and careful examination of Senshu Ikeda’s offering, I found their deposit and withdrawal process to be quite traditional compared to many global brokers. For deposits, clients are required to make bank transfers to a specific branch associated with the Ikeda Senshu Bank, designated for these transactions. Once the transfer is completed, funds are credited to the client’s account automatically. Notably, Senshu Ikeda covers the transfer fee for deposits made into client accounts, which is a considerate feature for minimizing transaction costs. When it comes to withdrawals, the procedure is similarly straightforward but again limited to bank transfers. Withdrawn funds are remitted directly to the customer’s registered deposit or savings account, and Senshu Ikeda also absorbs the cost of these transfer fees. From my perspective, this underscores their commitment to transparency and minimizing customer charges. However, in my opinion, this traditional banking approach presents some limitations. There is currently no option to utilize credit cards, PayPal, Skrill, cryptocurrencies, or other third-party digital payment methods for deposits or withdrawals. While this may suit clients comfortable with banking infrastructure in Japan, traders who value fast, flexible, or global funding methods might find these constraints restrictive. For me, this means a more measured approach is required, ensuring I’m comfortable with classic banking timelines and procedures. This conservative model fits a certain profile of investor but may not match the needs of those seeking instant, diverse funding methods.
