With U.S. Bank, I was unable to identify any clear information on whether they offer fixed or variable spreads, which immediately stands out as a red flag for me. In my experience, it’s vital to know exactly how your costs can fluctuate, particularly during periods of heightened volatility when spreads commonly widen, sometimes dramatically, around major news events. This can impact trade execution and risk management. Because U.S. Bank does not specify their spread structure in the information I reviewed, I cannot make any assumptions about their behavior during volatile periods. Furthermore, having no regulatory oversight increases the importance of full transparency, which is unfortunately lacking here.
