In my own trading journey, genuine ECN brokers almost always specify both their spread structure and the exact per-lot commission, as this is critical for calculating trade costs and managing risk. However, in Proton Markets’ available information, commission specifics—along with key trading parameters like deposit methods, position sizing, and product coverage—are absent or insufficiently disclosed. This lack of clarity is concerning for me, especially given the wider context: Proton Markets is flagged as having “no valid regulatory information” and a “suspicious regulatory license,” with a risk score that is worryingly low. I am always particularly cautious when a broker avoids specifying basic information such as commission fees. As a trader, I view the absence of these details as a red flag—it makes it impossible for me to confidently assess what my actual trading costs would be over time. Ultimately, without clear, published commission data, I am not willing to assume the fee structure will be fair or competitive. For anyone serious about capital protection and cost transparency, I believe it is prudent to be extremely cautious with Proton Markets and to consider alternatives with robust regulation and full fee disclosure.
