In my experience evaluating brokers over the years, I pay particular attention to the transparency of their offering and, critically, the range of instruments available. At Fortune, I found the choices distinctly limited. While exploring their platform, I noted they allow trading exclusively in equities and derivatives—meaning stocks listed within the Indian markets and related derivatives products. It is important to clarify that, despite being frequently confused, these do not equate to global stocks or a wider range of asset classes. Crucially for me, and something that will matter to many traders, Fortune does not support forex, commodities, indices, cryptocurrencies, bonds, options, or ETFs. For traders coming from the international forex scene, this is a notable absence. Personally, this very much shapes my assessment of the suitability of the broker: the lack of forex and broader asset classes limits opportunities for diversification and strategic variety. I always stress to other traders to verify not only what a broker offers, but also what they do not. In Fortune’s case, if your focus is strictly on Indian equities and domestic market derivatives, the core offering is aligned. However, those seeking access to global markets, forex pairs, or alternative instruments would need to look elsewhere to avoid disappointment or unexpected barriers in their trading journey.
