As an experienced trader, I approach any broker’s offering with a strong emphasis on transparency and regulatory standing, particularly when it comes to core trading parameters like spreads. With M&G, I’ve observed a significant lack of concrete, readily available information regarding their spreads on major pairs such as EUR/USD. Unlike most reputable brokers who clearly present typical or average spreads to help clients assess trading costs, M&G does not disclose this detail on their platform or public documentation. This omission is troubling for me because understanding spreads is fundamental to evaluating the total cost of trading, especially for active forex strategies. Adding to my concerns, M&G’s profile is marked by serious regulatory warnings—particularly that their FCA license status is “exceeded,” which introduces heightened risk and questions about their operational reliability. My research on user feedback also reveals negative experiences with withdrawal processes and account transparency. Given that neither the average nor fixed spread for EUR/USD is stated, I am unable to independently verify what a typical spread might be for this pair on a standard account with M&G. For me, a lack of disclosure on such a basic metric presents a red flag. It makes it very difficult to properly manage trading expectations and costs, and I would never commit funds to a broker without access to this essential information. If spread size and cost predictability are priorities for you, I’d advise caution and recommend looking for brokers who are fully transparent about their fees and trading conditions.
