From what I can see, nabtrade is not under valid regulatory oversight, a crucial factor whenever real funds and YMYL considerations are involved. This absence of regulation can lead to less transparency in fee structures for products such as trading indices like the US100. When I trade indices on platforms, trading costs usually include commissions, spreads, and any platform or administrative fees. On nabtrade, basic information indicates international trading commences from $9.95 per trade, but this baseline is accompanied by additional foreign exchange costs for products like the US100, which is typically denominated in USD. This means that, for me, every trade incorporates not just the advertised commission but variable FX conversion charges that can materially affect the net cost, especially on larger positions. Additionally, nabtrade offers proprietary software but does not mention the detailed structure for other incidental fees—such as overnight funding, margin rates for leveraged products, or any inactivity costs. The lack of detailed, regulated, and published fee schedules prompts me to exercise extra caution. Without comprehensive oversight, it's hard to fully quantify potential slippage between quoted and executed prices, widening spreads during volatile conditions, or the true cost of holding positions for more than a day. In summary, although nabtrade’s market access and interface are highlighted positively by some, the direct and potential indirect trading costs—commission, spreads, currency conversion, and other unknowns—are insufficiently transparent for my risk tolerance. I would advise any trader, especially on indices like the US100, to demand clear pre-commitment disclosures of all fees and consider the elevated risks of trading through an unregulated venue like nabtrade. For me, fully understanding the cost breakdown is not just about maximizing profit, but about ensuring there are no unpleasant surprises—especially when there's no external regulatory assurance.
