As an experienced forex trader who’s navigated a wide range of brokers, the first thing I always assess before considering automated trading is the regulatory status and the technical support a broker offers for tools like Expert Advisors (EAs). In the case of DEGUSSA, after reviewing their offerings and background, I have strong reservations. DEGUSSA operates entirely unregulated, with no valid oversight from any financial authority, which instantly raises questions about security and transparency for any funds or trading activities performed on their platform. More critically for those interested in EAs, DEGUSSA’s service portfolio appears focused on gold-related investment products—such as physical gold purchase, savings plans, storage, and private wealth services—rather than providing a dedicated forex trading platform compatible with MetaTrader (MT4 or MT5), which are standard for running EAs. There is no clear mention or indication that DEGUSSA supports trading platforms where EAs can be installed, configured, or executed. Their lack of a transparent fee structure and limited technical details adds to my caution. In summary, based on my assessment, I would not consider DEGUSSA suitable for automated trading with Expert Advisors. For me, the absence of essential trading infrastructure and regulatory oversight means I would avoid using EAs here and look elsewhere for a broker that explicitly supports automated trading in a regulated environment.
