This regulatory framework is significant for me because the SFC enforces stringent standards regarding client protection, transparency, and risk management, which offers a fundamental layer of confidence when evaluating any firm. That said, while SFC registration provides a degree of credibility and oversight, I still remain cautious. My personal experience has shown that strong regulation does not automatically guarantee a flawless trading environment; I always closely examine the firm's business scope, especially since some aspects of Going Securities’ business activities are flagged as “suspicious” or unclear on public records. Additionally, since their fee structure is not entirely transparent, I would exercise extra diligence before engaging in any substantial trading activity. To conclude, while Going Securities is indeed licensed and supervised by the SFC, I rely not just on the presence of a license but on how the broker maintains transparency and upholds regulatory standards in actual practice. Regulatory oversight is necessary, but as a trader, ongoing vigilance remains essential for protecting one’s own interests.
