From my close analysis of DH’s available details, the typical spread offered for EUR/USD on the standard accounts is listed at 2 pips. In my experience, this is wider than what I see at many reputable, regulated brokers, where major pairs often come in at under 1 pip, sometimes much lower on ECN accounts. The spread matters because it directly impacts transaction costs and trading profitability over time. For me, such a spread could be significant, especially for scalping or high-frequency strategies where execution cost efficiency is critical. What especially concerns me here—and should be a key consideration for any trader—is the complete lack of regulatory oversight. Without established supervision, there’s no assurance that these spreads (or the overall trading conditions) are applied transparently or fairly. For my own trading, I am always cautious about trusting my capital and trading activity to a broker that operates unregulated, regardless of the products and leverage offered. While DH does provide specific spread data, the absence of regulation, high entry thresholds, and relatively wide spreads on a universally liquid pair like EUR/USD are, for me, strong signals to proceed extremely carefully, if at all.
