Based on my direct experience evaluating brokers, I cannot recommend Standard Bank for cryptocurrency deposits such as Bitcoin or USDT. From my review, the broker primarily supports deposits and withdrawals via traditional bank transfer, and there is no mention of any crypto deposit method being available. In my years of trading, it's always been vital to ensure a broker is not only clear about its funding options but also fully regulated for additional safety—here, Standard Bank unfortunately falls short on both fronts. The lack of regulation is a serious concern, and the absence of support for modern deposit methods like crypto means it's not suited for traders looking for those features. When a broker is this opaque about its account funding options and does not support cryptocurrencies explicitly, I interpret that as a sign to exercise even greater caution. For me, transparency and robust oversight are always non-negotiable, especially with something as significant as depositing crypto assets. If crypto deposit is a priority for you, I strongly advise looking elsewhere for a regulated broker that specifically supports it and discloses its process and risks.
