In my experience researching and trading with various brokers, the transparency of spread structures is crucial for risk management. With RHB, precise details about fixed or variable spreads are unfortunately not clearly outlined in the publicly available information. This absence of clarity is something I take very seriously, especially given RHB’s revoked regulatory status and the warnings around its suspicious license and scope of business. In such situations, I find it best to exercise heightened caution, as this lack of disclosure could mean that traders are exposed to unfavorable trading costs or sudden spread widening, particularly during major news events when the market is volatile. Typically, brokers with robust regulation and transparent practices will clearly state whether they offer fixed or variable spreads. Variable spreads usually widen substantially during high-impact news, which can affect both stop-loss execution and overall strategy effectiveness. Since RHB’s spread policy is not stipulated and given the high potential risk flagged by its regulatory background, I would personally avoid trading during major news times with this broker. For me, working with a broker that has clear, published spread conditions and solid regulatory coverage is non-negotiable, as it provides an extra layer of trust and helps me manage my trading risks more effectively.
