Based on my review of Jarden as an experienced forex trader, I must note that clear details regarding ECN or raw spread account types and their associated commissions are absent. Jarden is regulated by ASIC in Australia, which is an encouraging sign for basic operational rigor and oversight. However, the context reveals some medium potential risks, and the scope of their business appears somewhat ambiguous. Importantly for me, there is no explicit information about commissions per lot on ECN or raw spread accounts—actually, there isn’t much clarity on whether such account types are offered at all. Instead, Jarden operates as a market maker and does not support popular third-party platforms like MT4 or MT5. The platforms available (Ranos, Commtrade, Market Trader) are proprietary or less widely adopted, which can make evaluating costs or trading conditions in advance more challenging. Furthermore, there is no demo account available to test trading conditions, including spreads or potential commissions, before committing funds. Because of these uncertainties, I couldn’t confidently determine whether you would be charged a per-lot commission on any “ECN” or “raw” type account; if transparent cost structures are important for your trading, this lack of disclosure would be a considerable drawback for me.
