Malaysia Could Face Rising Living Costs Over Higher Fuel Prices
The Finance Ministry confirmed the adjusted price levels in an official statement, with RON97 increasing to RM4.20 per litre from RM4.00, while unsubsidised RON95 rose to RM3.62 from RM3.42. Unsubsidised diesel recorded the sharpest single-week adjustment, climbing from RM4.07 to RM4.42 per litre. The impact extends beyond fuel prices, as the increase could potentially drive up costs in other sectors across the country.
