VT Markets Partners Portuguese Football Federation in MENA
Abstract:VT Markets signs exclusive MENA deal with Portuguese Football Federation, boosting brand trust through football sponsorship and regional expansion.

VT Markets Secures FPF Sponsorship in MENA
CFD broker VT Markets has signed a regional sponsorship with the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF), becoming its exclusive Official Trading Partner across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).
The campaign, branded “Invest in Greatness,” combines trading themes with Portugal‘s football prestige, aiming to connect with the sport’s widespread popularity in Arab markets. The partnership will feature regional marketing, fan-engagement events, and financial literacy initiatives.
Dandelyn Koh, Head of Global Marketing at VT Markets, said the collaboration reflects the brokers ambition to unite finance and sport while expanding its regional footprint.
Regulatory Expansion and Market Push
Founded in Sydney in 2016 under the Vantage Group, VT Markets has grown through aggressive digital campaigns and new licenses. Earlier this year, it secured a Category 5 license from the UAE Securities and Commodities Authority, cementing its on-shore presence in Dubais competitive financial hub.

The move aligns with the brokers strategy to build localized client bases through education and outreach, rather than broad advertising.
Football as a Gateway
For the FPF, the deal strengthens ties with MENA supporters while diversifying revenue beyond Europe. Football sponsorships have long been a credibility tool for brokers, with firms like eToro and Plus500 also investing in the sport.
By partnering with a national team instead of a club, VT Markets gains prestige and flexibility, avoiding conflicts with competing shirt sponsors or league restrictions.
Record Volumes and Tech Initiatives
The sponsorship comes as VT Markets reported $720 billion in trading volume in April 2025, its highest to date, driven by global volatility following new U.S. import tariffs.
The broker also showcased an AI-powered trading strategy at its Dubai-based “VT Markets Week 2025,” reinforcing its tech-forward positioning amid tighter Gulf regulatory oversight.
For VT Markets, the FPF partnership offers cultural legitimacy in a crowded market. For the federation, it secures a sponsor aligned with its global expansion ahead of major tournaments.
