UCMarkets offers spreads starting from 1.2 pips for its Standard STP and Vip STP accounts, which is typical for many brokers in the industry. However, the RAW ECN account offers 0 pips spread but charges a $10 commission per round turn. Personally, I find the RAW ECN account attractive for high-frequency trading, as 0 pips spread is ideal for reducing trading costs. However, I also understand that the commission fee could add up, especially if I’m trading smaller volumes. I prefer tighter spreads, so I would lean towards the RAW ECN account, but only if my trading volume justifies the commission cost. For traders who are more comfortable with slightly higher spreads but don’t want to deal with commissions, the Standard STP account might be a better fit.
