As someone cautious about regulatory standing and product suitability, I always look for clear disclosures regarding account types, including whether swap-free options are supported, since this can significantly affect trading costs and compliance needs for certain clients. First Shanghai is regulated by Hong Kong’s SFC and is a longstanding institution with over twenty years of operation, which adds to its credibility. Their focus appears to be on providing a variety of financial services—ranging from stocks and futures to IPO subscriptions and margin financing—for both domestic and international markets. However, I did not come across any indication, either in their service outlines or listed features, that Islamic (swap-free) accounts are available. For me, transparency on account options is crucial, especially for traders with specific ethical or religious requirements. In this case, the lack of explicit mention would make me assume that First Shanghai likely does not currently support Islamic accounts.
