Drawing from my experience as an independent forex trader, clarity around a broker’s fee structure is fundamental for sound decision-making and proper risk management. When assessing TD, I quickly noticed a distinct lack of transparent information regarding commissions, spreads, and other typical trading fees. This is more than a minor inconvenience; for me, the inability to obtain precise details about costs makes it very challenging to accurately plan and assess the profitability of any strategy. In my view, fully understanding the cost structure is a vital part of responsible trading—unexpected or unclear fees can significantly impact outcomes over time. In addition, it's important to highlight that TD currently operates as an unregulated platform, according to the latest available data. From a risk perspective, this places an extra burden on traders to be vigilant about hidden charges, as regulatory oversight is usually what helps enforce fair fee practices and transparency. Without such supervision, my cautious approach is to assume there may be less protection against unfavorable or non-transparent cost structures. In summary, due to the absence of clear, detailed information on commissions, spreads, or ancillary charges, I am unable to offer specifics about TD’s fees. Personally, this lack of transparency, combined with their unregulated status, leads me to exercise heightened caution. For me, full disclosure is non-negotiable before considering any broker for actual trading.
