From my direct investigation into Mahfaza, I found that the broker offers the MetaTrader 5 (MT5) trading platform. As someone with years of hands-on trading experience, I see the availability of MT5 as a technical advantage, especially for those who value advanced charting tools, automated trading, and expanded asset choices. However, Mahfaza does not offer MetaTrader 4 (MT4) or cTrader—only MT5 is supported. While MT5 is widely respected for its robust features and is suitable for more experienced traders, the lack of MT4 or cTrader may be limiting for individuals who have developed strategies or familiarity on those platforms. I personally appreciate the sophistication of MT5, but it’s crucial to recognize that transitioning from MT4 to MT5, or learning a new platform altogether, can require time and a patient learning curve. Given Mahfaza's unregulated status and other risk considerations, I always urge caution—thoroughly understanding the differences between trading platforms and considering your own expertise level are essential steps for any trader before opening an account. For me, the platform offered is a significant factor, but it must be weighed alongside the broker’s regulatory background and overall transparency.
