LME operates without regulation, which means there isn’t a standard, transparent framework that would typically obligate the firm to publish or clarify details like inactivity fee policies. For me, transparency on fee structure is non-negotiable since hidden costs can erode profits or complicate withdrawals. In cases like LME, where the company focuses on metals trading and lacks forex or typical retail trading instruments, and doesn’t use mainstream trading platforms such as MT4 or MT5, there’s an added layer of complexity. Plus, with at least one user reporting significant issues regarding account balances and operational status, I see this as a major red flag. Without published rules on inactivity or dormant account handling, there’s a real risk of unexpected deductions or account issues, especially during periods of non-use. My advice: always request any fee details in writing before opening or funding an account, and be particularly careful with brokers lacking regulatory transparency.
