The firm is regulated by the Taipei Exchange, which is fundamental for my peace of mind—when a broker holds an official license, it demonstrates commitment to market standards and investor protection, and that always matters for me. In terms of trading instruments, Taishin Securities allows me to access a broad range of assets. I appreciate being able to trade securities, futures, stocks, ETFs, bonds, commodities, and derivatives on a single platform. This diversity is important for me, as I often seek to diversify my portfolio or hedge across different asset classes without the complexity of managing multiple accounts across unrelated providers. However, from the perspective of someone with a focus on forex or digital assets, I did notice that Taishin Securities does not support forex, indices, options, or cryptocurrencies. This makes their platform more suitable for those of us who concentrate on traditional markets versus those interested in more speculative or emerging financial products. Regarding fees, my cautious approach always makes me look for clear and upfront cost structures, and here Taishin falls short. The platform does not provide transparent or detailed information about its fee system. While the regulatory environment may imply a level of fairness, I have learned to never make assumptions with costs. For me, this lack of clarity means I would proceed thoughtfully—always confirming fee details directly before committing significant capital.
