In my experience, this is fairly typical for Chinese futures brokers, whose emphasis is usually on regulatory compliance, platform accessibility, and support options rather than account categorization. For me, the fact that CITIC Futures is regulated both in China and Hong Kong gives it a certain layer of trust, but I noticed there’s limited product diversity—primarily focusing on futures contracts and derivatives rather than spot forex or CFDs. There is a demo account available, which I personally consider essential for testing out any new broker, especially when navigating unfamiliar platform types like Fast Issue (V2/V3) or specialized options systems. What I’ve learned from CITIC Futures is that choosing between “accounts” here essentially comes down to selecting which trading system or device environment fits my needs best, not picking among differing fee schedules or feature ladders as I might with international forex firms. Fees and available services can vary based on the instruments and exchanges accessed, so for safety, I would always consult the official fee schedule before any commitment. Overall, the platform prioritizes technical support and licensed services, but doesn’t offer the flexible account structures some global traders might expect. This is something I keep in mind when considering the broker in the context of my own trading objectives and risk management standards.
