Speaking from my perspective as a trader who prioritizes both transparency and regulatory safety, I need to be candid: after closely reviewing all available information on AMTD, I was unable to find any reliable or official disclosure regarding the typical spreads for EUR/USD or any other majors for a standard account. This lack of clarity immediately stands out to me. In my experience, legitimate brokers usually make such critical trading details readily available to help traders make informed decisions and compare costs with industry standards. Another factor that gives me pause is AMTD's unverified regulatory status with the Hong Kong SFC. WikiFX even noted the field survey could not confirm AMTD’s physical office at their registered address, which raises further concerns about their operational transparency. I've also come across user feedback indicating withdrawal issues, which only deepens my caution. Given these points, I personally would not consider trading with a broker that fails to disclose basic trading conditions, such as EUR/USD spreads, and that has significant question marks around regulation and transparency. For me, understanding the cost structure upfront is essential in managing my trading risks responsibly, while operating with a regulated, clearly communicative broker is non-negotiable for capital safety.
