In my experience, reputable brokers are diligent in presenting such crucial information, often providing clear tables or calculators to help traders anticipate overnight costs. This transparency is vital because even small differences in swap fees can add up significantly for positions held over multiple days. With Rakuten Bank, their absence of formal regulation heightens my caution. Without oversight, there’s limited recourse if charges change unpredictably or aren’t disclosed clearly. Practically, I’d find it difficult to assess how competitive Rakuten Bank’s funding rates are relative to large, internationally regulated brokers unless they become much more forthcoming.
