As a trader who prioritizes transparency and regulatory oversight, I approach brokers like Zora with significant caution. Based on my research, Zora operates without any recognized regulation and holds what appears to be a suspicious regulatory license. This alone immediately raises my risk antennae, as unregulated brokers can lack accountability mechanisms that help protect traders from unfair practices, including hidden fees. Although Zora has been in operation for five to ten years, the absence of clear regulatory information means that the processes around deposits and withdrawals are not independently supervised. I could not find any reliable, publicly disclosed details regarding their fee structure for deposits or withdrawals. What deeply concerns me, however, is that the one available user review explicitly mentions difficulties with withdrawals—specifically, the trader was unable to retrieve their funds and received no response from customer service. While this is a single review, such reports are a red flag for me because they suggest potential non-transparent policies or practices. Given these facts, I cannot conclusively state whether Zora charges undisclosed fees, but the lack of regulatory oversight and the negative user experience make me highly wary. In my experience, the risk of unexpected or undisclosed fees is much higher with brokers that do not operate under strict regulatory supervision. For my personal trading, I would avoid committing any funds to Zora until greater transparency and regulatory safeguards could be demonstrated.
