In my experience reviewing Hicend, I found that they do not provide a free demo account option to prospective traders. For me, this lack of a demo account is a significant consideration when evaluating a broker, especially since demo accounts are invaluable for testing platforms, understanding fee structures, and getting comfortable with a broker’s environment without risking real funds. The absence of a demo environment at Hicend means that I would need to commit actual capital to gain hands-on familiarity with their various trading platforms and tools. I lean towards caution in such instances, because the ability to practice and get to know a broker’s workflow before investing is crucial for reducing risk, particularly as trading products like futures, metals, and energy can carry considerable volatility. Additionally, Hicend’s omission of a demo account implies that any learning curve or testing must occur in live conditions, which may not suit newer traders or those unfamiliar with their trading terminals. While Hicend does appear to offer a range of advanced trading platforms and is regulated in China, the inability to try these platforms risk-free, in my view, demands a more careful and measured approach before depositing funds. Ultimately, for my trading style and risk management preferences, the absence of a demo account is a limiting factor and should be considered seriously by anyone thinking of opening an account.
