As an experienced trader who pays close attention to broker reliability and regulatory integrity, I approach platforms like AMTD with a high degree of caution—especially where client fund safety is concerned. Based on all available information about AMTD, I found no evidence to suggest that they support cryptocurrency deposits such as Bitcoin or USDT. In fact, the details around their funding options in general are quite opaque, with no clear or official guidance on which deposit methods are currently accepted. For me, the absence of transparent payment information is a significant concern, particularly given AMTD's unverified regulatory status and the findings that no physical office exists at their listed address. My own practice is only to consider brokers whose operational processes—including deposit and withdrawal mechanisms—are fully disclosed and subject to reputable and verifiable regulation. In the case of AMTD, not only is there a lack of information regarding crypto deposits, but there are also user complaints about withdrawal issues, which further undermines my confidence. Given these factors, I would not proceed with any deposits—crypto or otherwise—until the broker can demonstrably prove both its licensing status and provide detailed, trustworthy information about its funding channels and withdrawal reliability. For financial safety, I believe erring on the side of caution is essential with platforms lacking robust, verifiable transparency.
