Drawing on my independent research and years of trading experience, I make it an absolute priority to check a broker’s regulatory status before considering them for any investment activity. When I looked into Krungthai, I immediately found that there is no evidence of current regulatory oversight; neither the Securities and Exchange Commission of Thailand nor any other globally recognized financial watchdog is supervising this broker. This absence of regulation is not a mere technicality—regulatory bodies exist to enforce transparency, protect client funds, and provide avenues for dispute resolution. Choosing to trade with an unregulated firm such as Krungthai, which has a flagged "suspicious regulatory license" and a high potential risk warning, carries significant uncertainty because there are no robust external controls ensuring their operations meet industry standards. For me, placing funds with such a broker, regardless of their geographical presence or years in business, simply does not meet my minimum due diligence requirements for safety and accountability. In trading, safeguarding capital is as important as seeking profit, and without proper regulatory backing, the risk profile becomes unacceptably high.
