I also noticed a recent penalty related to the Futures Management Act. While regulatory sanctions raise concerns, for me the key is whether the broker addresses compliance issues transparently and improves over time. In summary, while Cathay Futures benefits from regional regulation and industry experience, anyone considering them should proceed prudently, closely monitor fee disclosures, and maintain a vigilant approach to evolving regulatory disclosures. I personally would view them as relatively trustworthy compared to unregulated firms, but not without their risks.
