From my experience and careful review of their procedures, Midas Securities does not accept deposits or withdrawals through credit cards, PayPal, Skrill, or any form of cryptocurrency. All funds must be transferred from or to bank accounts held in the client’s own name, and third-party deposits or withdrawals are not accepted for compliance and security reasons. Withdrawals are processed through signed withdrawal forms submitted via email or fax, and proceeds are credited by cheque to the bank account registered with them. The absence of electronic wallets or crypto options might be inconvenient for some, but it’s common for licensed brokers in Hong Kong and underscores a cautious approach to financial compliance. For me, while this means slightly less convenience, there is a trade-off in regulatory clarity and lower risk of payment disputes or fraud.
