When assessing the available trading instruments, M&G mainly emphasizes asset management, investments, and long-term savings options, rather than a traditional range of leveraged trading products like forex or CFDs. They offer accounts such as ISAs, Junior ISAs, and OEICs, all with a low barrier to entry—a minimum deposit reportedly starts at just £1. This could be attractive for some, but in my view, the product scope is quite limited if someone is seeking an actively traded, diverse instrument selection. Turning to their fees, M&G structures charges based on the value of your investment, and these fees are calculated annually and deducted daily. However, I find the lack of specific, transparent information on detailed fee amounts to be a significant concern. For me, clarity on commissions, withdrawal, or platform fees is crucial for evaluating true trading costs and planning capital allocation. Ambiguity in this area makes effective risk management more challenging. While some may see the low entry threshold and ease of deposit as advantages, my work as a trader has taught me that robust regulation and fee transparency are far more important for protecting funds. Especially troubling are indicators such as the “exceeded” regulatory license and serious user complaints regarding withdrawal issues and lost funds. For these reasons, I believe M&G's supposed benefits around instruments and fee structure require much more cautious examination before considering any involvement.
