In my experience evaluating BOOM, their deposit and withdrawal process appears fairly straightforward, though somewhat limited in scope compared to some global brokers. BOOM does not offer deposit or withdrawal methods like PayPal, credit cards, Skrill, or cryptocurrencies. Instead, they focus on more traditional channels, such as eDDA (Electronic Direct Debit Arrangement), FPS, bank transfers, internet/phone banking, and ATM transfers. Deposits made through eDDA require a minimum of HKD 200, with most other methods showing no enforced minimums. I appreciate that BOOM imposes no fees on deposits or withdrawals, which is advantageous for cost-conscious traders like myself. For withdrawals, funds are sent directly to a designated bank account or, in some cases, by cheque. In my view, same-day processing is a plus if the request is made before the specified cut-off. However, the lack of modern digital wallets and cryptocurrency support makes BOOM less flexible, especially for those accustomed to quick, diverse funding options. For me, the absence of these digital solutions means that moving money in and out of the platform may take longer and could be less convenient, particularly for international clients. As always, I urge traders to ensure their preferred banking methods align with the broker’s offerings before opening an account.
