With Travelex, there is indeed a monthly inactivity fee, which for me is a point that demands caution. This fee is AU$4.00 per month and it’s charged if I haven't made any transactions on my card in the previous 12 months. Importantly, this applies each month until either I use the card again, reload it, close the card, or my remaining balance drops below the inactivity fee. From a trader’s perspective, these kinds of fees can gradually erode funds, especially if I’m not actively using the account for a while.
